In New York, why not messenger / messengers get advice from your services?
Food distributors all else gets advice. Is it because the majority of couriers are black or Latino or urban poor people? that most of you yuppies think they are upper class people in New worthless York
It is not customary to tip a messenger, that's why. The main service they are providing is the delivery, and I'm paying for that service. Been paid to deliver, period. You're not doing anything extra for me. If I call a restaurant for delivery, its main activity is food preparation. Delivering that me is an extra service and it is customary to tip for that service. If you are unhappy with your work, get an education so they can get better.

Politley How to refuse a tip, especially if they insist you take it?
I ask this and my previous question, because I am a FedEx driver who do not expect tips, after all this is our job to get your packages to you as soon as possible (hopefully) I feel uncomfortable when people try to give me money, so how I can deny that without being rude? In my opinion if you want to do something nice for your driver I would just be nice to change and Please understand if we are sometimes late, most of the time is not their fault drivers. But do not settle for poor service or if your mail is rude to you or do something you unaceptable believed to then call and report them. I take pride in doing a wonderful job for my customers and if they were not happy with me and did not want to tell me on my face I want to know what was the problem to be overcome. Oh, and if you feel that nessacary give a gift, I like candy and pens, we always need pens lol, but please no money
If you insist, I say that as a rule, you have made a personal decision not to accept tips. If they do look like a religion people expected to be more friendly and stop insisting. Then you can laugh with a corny joke like "The only advice I will accept are those that come with feathers!" (Ja – ja) Anyway, if you still insist (some people are very persistent) can say that if you really want to reward you can post a comment on your FedEx great service.
